Information about newsletter subscriptions regarding the protection of personal data consistent with art. 13 regulation (EU) 2016/679

 

Consistent with art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 Foundation for Contemporary Arts in Tuscany - Center for contemporary art Luigi Pecci, with headquarters in 277 Viale della Repubblica, 59100 Prato, P.Iva [02357450978], e-mail: info @ centropecci.it, as Data Controller, informs users of the Data Controller’s mailing list service, of the purposes and methods of processing personal data collected, their scope of communication and dissemination, in addition to the nature of their contribution.

Data provided directly from the user

Identification and contact data as well as those concerning the type or sectors of interest give consent to their use in order to send the newsletter as requested by the user.

Eventual specifics of an information summary is reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for services on request, so as to draw to the attention of the person concerned the processing of his personal data.

 

Processing Purposes

The data (such as for example the address of the sender and any other personal data included in the registration form, including the type and sectors of interest) sent by the user, will be voluntarily used to send the newsletter as per user request, also by segmentation by type and sector of interest selected, so that the interested user can receive information and / or invitations in a targeted and relevant way for them. The interested party has the possibility to change, at any time, the preferences expressed if he deems it appropriate, by sending an email to info@centropecci.it.

The personal data can be processed, with consent, by automatic tools (such as email and SMS) as well as by traditional means (like telephone contact by an operator), for market and advertising purposes on the part of the data controller.   

The interested party has the right to oppose at any time the processing of their data for this purpose, for which the provision is optional, by sending an email info@centropecci.it. Any refusal to data processing does not compromise the continuation of the relationship or the adequacy of the processing itself.

 

Provision of personal data

The provision of personal data is optional, but any refusal to reply implies the impossibility for the data processer to process the requests to send the newsletter.

 

Legal basis of processing

 The legal basis of the processing is consent to the processing of the aforementioned data, consent that is necessary. Consent is considered granted by flagging the appropriate boxes at the bottom of the online form.

 

Processing Methods

The processing of data is performed through IT procedures or by electronic means and paper form by internal or external subjects, who have been specifically appointed and authorized and are committed to confidentiality.The data is processed and conserved with appropriate tools to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality through the adoption of adequate security measures as required by law.

 

Conservation Times

The data is kept until requested by the interested party who opposes its sending and those who wish to renounce the receipt of the newsletter, can do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each communication or through the procedures set periodically for this purpose,  except for the processing for marketing and advertising purposes by the data processor that will continue up to 24 months after the last contact with the data processor, except in the case of  possible establishment of contractual relationships or refusal from the interested party.

 

Communication and  sharing, recipiens

The data collected will not be disseminated, sold or exchanged with third parties without the express consent of the interested party, except for any communications to authorized third parties - committed to confidentiality or in the case appointed as data controllers pursuant to art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (such as companies operating in the IT and IT support and hosting companies, web-marketing and telemarketing companies) where necessary for the purposes set out in this statement.

Sharing data abroad in countries not within the European Economic Area 

n relation to the processing purposes previously envisaged, the data may be transmitted abroad and processed by third parties, established also in the territory of countries outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States of America. The transfer to these third countries takes place on the basis of adequacy decisions by the European Commission or the signing of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission itself. 

Please note that data protection laws and other laws of other countries outside the European Economic Area to which data may be transferred may offer a lower level of protection than the country of residence of the data subject.

In this case, the Data Controller will take appropriate precautions, in compliance with the applicable law, to ensure that the personal data of the interested party remains protected. These measures also include the use of standard contractual clauses to safeguard the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area.   In any case, the interested user has the right to obtain the reference to the appropriate guarantees adopted for the transfer of personal data and the means to obtain a copy of such personal data or the place where they were made available.
