Alberto Battisti, the artistic director of the Chamber Music Group “Città di Prato”, guides you through your listening to the work of this German composer. With his theorisation of the total work of art (Gesamtkunstwerk), Wagner revolutionized the relationship between man and time and time and space, opening up new horizons for the theatre, for musical composition technique, for the meaning and the mission of art in general.
Ogni settimana – il lunedì e il mercoledì, dalle ore 21 alle ore 23 – esperti riconosciuti introducono il pubblico ai protagonisti e ai capolavori visivi e sonori dell’Ottocento, offrendo un’occasione di confronto e comprensione sulle radici della cultura contemporanea, attraverso l’arte e la musica.
