The term 'teaching' is often misleading as it can be understood as simply the theory and practice of teaching alone. The idea with which we start off at the Pecci Centre is not just to teach something to be memorised but to actually educate. The objective is to instil an understanding of contemporary art but also to help develop certain behaviours and attitudes towards the world.

Art is an opportunity through which we can read and understand the world. Thus, it is not only a question of forms, materials and colours but also a conceptual process. This awareness will be the point from which the workshops set off, without forgetting that their purpose is to help us understand the world and also to serve as a starting point for complex comparisons.
