At CID/Arti Visive, visitors can request access to a selection of around 700 volumes from the personal library of Leonardo Savioli, a Florentine architect who studied under Giovanni Michelucci and was one of the leading figures of the so-called Tuscan School. The books are part of a donation made by Flora Wiechmann Savioli to the Region of Tuscany and later placed at Centro Pecci.
The CID/Arti Visive collection has grown through the acquisition of archives with important historical and artistic value, many of which began as personal libraries of critics and scholars, or as archives of magazines, institutions, and foundations. It includes Italian and international catalogues from 1950 to today, more than 330 specialist magazines, audiovisual materials, and other items that document the history of contemporary art.
