Daniele Pugliese, from Turin, was involved in student activism in his youth, has had a career in journalism which spans over thirty years and is widely published both individually and with others. Some of his works include: A Monumental History of the Italian Communist Party; an essay on The Birth of the Cooperative Movement and another on The Success of the Tuscan Cigar; volumes on the Freemasons and the monster of Florence: and, in addition to this, the curatorship of 'Unity', the newspaper where he worked for over twenty years as an editor and then vice director. He also spent ten years as the director of 'Toscana Notizie', the Information Agency for the Region of Tuscany.
