On the occasion of Artissima 2025, Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci and Axis Axis present the catalogue of the exhibition VIVONO. Art and Feelings, HIV-AIDS in Italy. 1982–1996, on Sunday, November 2 at 4:15 PM.

Curated by Michele Bertolino, the publication represents the first attempt to trace the history of the HIV-AIDS epidemic in Italy through the artworks, testimonies, and documents created during those years.

Composed of two complementary volumes — the Reader, which gathers research and texts, and the Archive, which collects visual materials, archival documents, and testimonies — VIVONO is an editorial project that accompanies and expands the exhibition currently on view at Centro Pecci.

The book includes contributions by Valeria Calvino, Daniele Calzavara, Sandra Cane, Stefano Collicelli Cagol, Giulia Sbaffi, Luca Scarlini, Luca Starita, and Giulia Zompa, alongside poems and original writings by Luciano Bartolini, Dario Bellezza, Massimiliano Chiamenti, Nino Gennaro, La Nina, Ottavio Mai, Marco Sanna, Giovanni Testori, Pier Vittorio Tondelli, and Bruno Zanichelli.
