Screenings, concerts and performances in Prato and Florence accompany Dante 700. At Centro Pecci: the screening of Dante: Inferno to Paradise and a special Tempo Reale event celebrating Luciano Berio.

Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci takes part in the third edition of the international symphonic composition competition Dante 700 – The Sweet Symphony of Paradise, a project combining music, visual arts, and contemporary reflections on Dante’s visions of Paradise.

Within the program, Centro Pecci will host two special events, with free admission:

    • September 30: screening of the documentary Dante: Inferno to Paradise by Ric Burns, co-written with Dante scholar Riccardo Bruscagli, who will be present at the event.
    • October 7: Tempo Reale | Berio+, a concert-performance with Monica Benvenuti (voice), Claudia Bucchini (flute), and live electronics curated by Tempo Reale, celebrating the centenary of Luciano Berio.

By joining the project, Centro Pecci confirms its role as a space where artistic languages intersect and where new forms of cultural research find expression, in collaboration with major Tuscan music and cultural institutions.
