Concept, direction: Zbigniew Szumski

Inspired by the terrorist attack of July 14, 2016 in Nice, the show is a sort of Manifesto about the contemporary mankind’s powerlessness, which focuses on its inability to predict and control terrorist acts.

In Nice, 14 July quotes from handbooks of household devices, literary evocations and everyday activities collide in order to create an emotional system capable of revealing  the hidden mechanisms of the common uncertainty we live every day.

AKHE (St. Petersburg, Russia) group was founded in 1989 by Maksim Isaev, Pavel Semtchenko and Vadim Vasiliev, three members of Boris Ponizovski Theatre. Working on performances, cinema and visual arts, today the group is an open cooperation where the permanent members are Isaev and Semtchenko.
AKHE has participated to many theatrical exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Besides, it has collaborated with international and national theatrical groups: Derevo (RUS-GER), Lantaaren (NL), Toihaus (AUS), Slava Polunin (RUS).

Teatr Cinema (Michałowice, Poland) is a polish acting company since 1992. With its multidisciplinary spirit, Teatr Cinema combines theatre, dance, visual arts and video, instruments that make poetics and style easily recognizable. Their shows are so polyphonic and polysemous that it is hard to classify them in a precise genre.
The group, led by Zbigniew Szumski, has composed and produced many shows, like: 

Dong, Billiards, I do not speak of  love here, Dirty beauty, Yes.This.Here, I had this dream, Albert Lux, The Dictionary of Situations (co-produced by SPIELART Festival/ Munich, Hebbel Theater/Berlin, FFT/Duesseldorf), Mum, I want to dance Mahler (co-produced by LOFFT, Leipzig), A short history of marching steps, Tales and memory (in cooperation with Acco Theater from Israel), Hotel Dieu, Re//mix P.B., Post Human Theatre (cooperation with Kaitaisha Theatre/Tokyo), Revue of Fire, Who laughs at my fears (Mexican-Polish cooperation) and five evenings from the cycle The Cabaret of Giants.
