Fabio Martini

Martini

Fabio Martini is a professor of Palaeontology at the University of Florence and the current director of the The Fiorentino Prehistoric Museum and Institute. He conducts excavations in Italy, central and southern Italy in particular, and abroad (Eritrea, Sudan). Some of the main areas of interest in his research are: Paleolithic and Mesolithic cultures, lithic productions and the art of hunter-gatherer peoples.
