Centro Pecci offers museum tours and workshops for Intermediate schools that encourage discovery and dialogue through direct contact with artworks, helping students develop cross-disciplinary skills.
During the visits and workshops, museum educators promote participation, expressive movement, the use of all the senses, and critical thinking, encouraging openness to different identities and to the complexity of the present. Using the works in the museum’s permanent collection, Eccentrica. The Collections of Centro Pecci, students take part in guided tours that connect with their school subjects and then build on their experience through shared reflections, collaborative activities, and creative workshops in the galleries.

Educational Offer Pratomusei 2025/2026
Pratomusei was founded in 2013 as the first museum system of the Prato area. The network is made up of the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art, the Museum of the Cathedral of Prato, the Palazzo Pretorio Museum, and the Textile Museum. The museum system offers schools unique educational paths to discover and explore the history and cultural heritage of the city and its surroundings.
For the 2025/2026 school year, the Pratomusei educational program expands with new activities involving all the museums in the system. These initiatives are the result of collaboration and dialogue between the museum education departments and local teachers.
