Centro Pecci offers fun and engaging tours and workshops for nursery and preschool groups. The activities follow the National Guidelines and give children the chance to explore art directly. They help children develop their senses and creativity, using play as a natural way to discover and learn.
During the tours and workshops, museum educators encourage children to express themselves with words, movement, and all their senses, using their hands and bodies through hands-on activities.

Educational Offer Pratomusei 2025/2026
Pratomusei was founded in 2013 as the first museum system of the Prato area. The network is made up of the Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art, the Museum of the Cathedral of Prato, the Palazzo Pretorio Museum, and the Textile Museum. The museum system offers schools unique educational paths to discover and explore the history and cultural heritage of the city and its surroundings.
For the 2025/2026 school year, the Pratomusei educational program expands with new activities involving all the museums in the system. These initiatives are the result of collaboration and dialogue between the museum education departments and local teachers.
