In a deserted area of Wyoming, near the famous Devil's Peak (a curious volcanic formation mentioned in every geology textbook), the U.S. government is secretly preparing a landing site for extraterrestrial spacecraft. But some people with extrasensory perception feel drawn to Devil's Peak, and two of these psychics, Roy, an electrical engineer, and Jillian, a woman whose son was kidnapped by extraterrestrials, arrive at the rendezvous with the mysterious spaceship.
