Screening
Born from a close encounter with Picasso’s masterpiece Guernica at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, where Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi visited in 2014, this project spans a decade and explores the Spanish Civil War and episodes of European history that contributed to the outbreak of that conflict.
This event is part of the project Il museo situato. New Acquisitions for Centro Pecci, supported by PAC2024 – Plan for Contemporary Art, promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
