After being struck by divine lightning, Ne Zha and Ao Bing, a demon and a dragon, find their bodies destroyed. To save their souls, Master Taiyi Zhenren uses the Seven-Colored Sacred Lotus, but only manages to regenerate Ne Zha's physical form. The two must then temporarily share the same body for seven days, during which they must undergo three trials to become immortal.
