When a trans activist philosopher like Paul B. Preciado makes his directorial debut, he can only do so by exploring the aporias of our contemporary world, tracing their roots back to literature. These aporias concern identity, fluidity, and the writing of a biography that, in its utterly personal nature, becomes collective. Orlando's story is everyone's story and deserves respect, acceptance, and a hearing from all: this documentary clearly communicates this to those who watch.
