"A poetic tale of a friendship that crosses species, and of the coexistence between humans and animals that rests on shaky balances. In a Tibetan prefecture in China, a regional TV crew treks through the mountains to reach the home of a sheep farmer who has captured a snow leopard after it killed nine of his animals. With them is a young monk known for his special connection with these impressive, endangered felines. As the farmer threatens to kill him, the monk recalls a past he shares with the leopard.
