    Centro Pecci with Diwan Florence, the ANPI Provincial Federation of Prato, the ANPI section of Vernio are organizing the event “The Diwan – A Drop for Gaza - With Ali Rashid, Always” which will be held on Friday 13 June starting at 6:00 PM.

    Program

    From 6:00 PM, updates, dialogues, images and sounds for Palestine:

    h 6:00 PM - screening of the documentary 9 humans from Gaza (35 minutes) with the author/director Luca Galassi;

    h 6:45 PM - reading from Il loro grido è la mia voce. Poesie da Gaza (Fazi Editore, April 2025) with Carolina Leporatti and Luca Avagliano;

    h 7:30 PM - talk with Mjriam Abu Samra, (Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford - live from Amman) - Martina Luisi (national coordinator of the Palestine Children's Relief Fund-Italy) - Tommaso Fattori (Activist, former Spokesperson for the European Social Forum in Florence) - Tomaso Montanari (Art Historian, Essayist, Rector of the University for Foreigners of Siena since 2021);

    h 9:00 PM - Palestinian Buffet (optional, free donation, minimum contribution 10 euros);

    h 10.00 PM - concert with Fabrizio Mocata (piano) and Tango Young Orchestra (Feyza Nur Saglikserver, Camilla Badessi, Tommaso Tarsi, Ruben Marzá, Sara Tomei) and Giovanni Eredia and Francesca Sutera (dancers) - Special guest: Titta Nesti (voice).

    Please note that the events scheduled for the evening are completely independent and it is possible to participate in part of the evening.
