Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci invites the public to the opening of I Wish You Could See Me, held on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. This significant date marks the debut of an artistic project dedicated to the memory of women killed by gender-based violence in Tuscany from 2014 to 2025.
The exhibition, created by photographer Arianna Senesi and writer Anna Bardazzi, is promoted by the La Nara Anti-Violence Center with the support of Autolinee Toscane and the contribution of the City of Prato, in collaboration with Centro Pecci.
During the opening, the artists and project partners will present the motivations and process behind the installation—a powerful tribute that restores visibility, dignity, and presence to women too often made invisible by violence.
The event offers a collective moment of reflection, reaffirming Centro Pecci’s commitment to engaging with urgent social issues through contemporary art.
