Centro per l'arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci with Stefano, Elena and Alessio Poggioni together with The Factory Prd and Davide Costa organize the event “Ukraine – Three and a half years of War in the heart of Europe” which will be held on Thursday 3 July starting at 9:00 pm at the Cinema Hall of Centro Pecci.

From 9:00 PM, updates, dialogues and images so as not to forget:
- 9:00 PM - screening of the documentary Hung Land – Stories and faces of Ukraine at war(40 minutes) with the participation of the authors and directors Stefano, Elena and Alessio Poggioni;
- 9:45 PM - talk with the participation of Monia Monni (Councillor of the Tuscany Region for Civil Protection), representatives of the Ukrainian Community in Tuscany, director Alessio Poggioni and producer Davide Costa.
From Thursday 26 June to Thursday 3 July, as part of the Centro Pecci Dispacci with a focus on Ukraine, Centro Pecci Cinema will program – once a day, at different times – the documentary Lirica Ucraina by Francesca Mannocchi. The author arrives in Bucha two days after the liberation from the Russian troops who had occupied it for 33 days. She documents, without sparing anything to the eye, the massacre committed against the citizens. She brings people closer, gaining their trust because she lets them talk about what they have experienced and are still experiencing without interrupting their stories. Lirica Ucraina won the David di Donatello 2025 for Best Documentary.
