Catucci

Stefano Catucci teaches Aesthetics at the Faculty of Architecture of the "Sapienza" University of Rome. He has published writings about Aesthetics and Philosophy in the early twentieth-century Europe, especially with reference to german and french authors. His Introduzione a Foucault (a general account about Michel Foucault’s thinking and impact on contemporary philosophy) published in Italy in 2001, has been reprinted several times (ed. Laterza). With Felice Cimatti, Massimo de Carolis and Paolo Virno he is among the founders of the journal "Forme di vita" (Forms of Life), created after a series of volumes published between 2002 and 2003, including his Per una filosofia povera (Towards a philosophy of poverty, ed. Bollati Boringhieri). He has worked for the Music section of the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Venice and for the Festival “Play It”, for which he designed and coordinated the "General States of the Arts in Italy", held in Florence, October 7, 2011. He is artistic director, along with Michele dall’Ongaro, of the “Concerti del Quirinale di Radio3”. To the relationship between aesthetics and architecture he has devoted papers in journals and collections of conference proceedings.
