NETWORK OF THE CONTEMPORARY IN TUSCANY
The Network of the Contemporary creates a virtual connection between 8 museums of contemporary art in Tuscany, in the cities of Florence, Prato, Pistoia, Carrara (MS), Livorno, Colle di Val d’Elsa (SI), San Gimignano (SI) and San Giovanni Valdarno (AR). These 8 institutions have amassed considerable public collections, supported by many years of promoting and disseminating contemporary art, in a region with an extraordinary past like Tuscany: 8 institutions interested in enhancing the artistic culture of the present or of the more recent past, offering visitors new opportunities to get to know and appreciate a rich heritage of art in constant evolution.
