Every Friday afternoon, Centro Pecci hosts a free expressive arts workshop for teenagers ages 13 to 16.
Centro Pecci ART LAB is an innovative project for youth ages 13 to 16, offering workshops focused on the arts — from drawing, painting, and sculpture to photography and new media.
The activities are led by experienced art therapists and are designed to support mental health and overall wellbeing through art and creativity.
The program is open to anyone interested in the arts and in exploring a path of self-discovery through creative expression.
No previous experience in drawing, painting, or visual arts is required.
Program and booking
Every Friday afternoon, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, April 4 to June 27.
The workshops are completely free, but booking is required.
For more information: email edu@centropecci.it or call +39 351 251 6826.
The workshops are coordinated by the Centro Pecci Education Department together with the SMIA (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) of AUSL Toscana Centro.
They are co-designed, delivered, and monitored by an interdisciplinary team of art therapists, educators, psychologists, and neuropsychiatrists.
The project builds on a thirty-year collaboration between Centro Pecci and AUSL Toscana Centro, and is made possible with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Prato and the operational contribution of EDA Servizi.
