Every Thursday morning, Centro Pecci offers free activities and workshops for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. The program is co-designed by the Centro Pecci Education Department and the Fresco Parkinson Institute.

Supporting physical and mental wellbeing through artistic practice is one of the goals of the program of activities accessible to people with Parkinson’s, their families, and caregivers. The program encourages socialization, strengthens personal relationships, builds self-esteem and confidence, and values each person’s emotions and creativity through contact with artworks.

The Laboratorio di attività espressive for people with Parkinson’s is led by experienced art therapists, who inspire creativity through looking at artworks and experimenting with different visual arts materials and techniques.

The Dance Well sessions, led by professional dance artists trained in the Dance Well method, are open to everyone and accessible to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
Held in the museum’s exhibition spaces, these sessions use the environment and the artworks on display to stimulate creativity, connection, and free expression through movement and thought.

No previous experience in dance, drawing, or painting is needed to participate.
