Centro Pecci’s educational programs don't stop for school breaks. In the summer and winter breaks, the museum offers fun and educational camps for children ages 6–11, and artist-led camps for youth ages 12–18.
Summer and winter campus for children ages 6–11
During camp weeks, children take part in a variety of activities, including workshops, games, and animated tours to explore the permanent collection Eccentrica. Le collezioni del Centro Pecci and the current exhibitions. They also enjoy experiences connected to video art and artist books, thanks to the museum’s cinema and the CID – Visual Arts library.
The program includes field trips to other museums and cultural centers in the area, as well as special activities in collaboration with local artists and cultural professionals.
Campus d’artista every summer for participants ages 12–18
Centro Pecci offers Campus d’artista every summer for participants ages 12–18. Each week, young people explore the museum and artistic practices through the eyes of different guest artists, who guide them in discovering new ways of seeing and creating.
