Light Lights is the first solo exhibition by Davide Stucchi (Vimercate, 1988) in an Italian institution. The show features sculptures created by the artist between 2019 and 2025, exploring the theme of light. These works transform how visitors perceive both the exhibition space and their own bodies as they move through it.

Stucchi uses a a playful and varied group of lights to create an immersive environment that unfolds gradually. Moving through the space suggests a choreography of gestures, glances, and movements that invite reflection on the fleeting nature of encounters and life’s moments - whether bright or wrapped in darkness.

Imagined stories, daydreams, and everyday scenes are disrupted by sharp irony and an ability to draw out the absurd and unseen details of daily life. Light Lights reveals Stucchi’s skill in working within the half-light - between delicate illuminations - making visible the many absences that shape community life.
