Marco Bagnoli is one of the most significant exponents of the artistic trends imposed in Italy at the end of the Seventies. His work is articulated into complex installation which involve the environment with the contribution of multiple expressive media, from drawing to painting, from printing to sculpture. It rotates around the possible relationship between the cognitive potential of the imagination, intuitive thought and emotionality - faculties traditionally assigned to artistic expression - and the knowledge that belongs to rationality, an area which traditionally belongs to scientific thought.
