Today, Wednesday 28 October, the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci launched Sconfinare, a series of talks organised by Tutt_DevonoSapere, bringing schools into dialogue with people and organisations working in migrant reception and migration policy.
The programme aims to offer critical tools for understanding the present, drawing on first-hand accounts of migration and reception. It involves Prato’s Istituto Professionale Guglielmo Marconi and a network of associations and professionals, creating a space for exchange where artistic practices become a way to share lived experiences and develop new narratives.
The first session, Sconfin_IA_mo, explores borders and rights violations, with a focus on the ethical use of technology and contributions from the SPORTELLINO project and Refugees in Libya.
Each session combines screenings from the documentary project Ci siamo incontrati dalla stessa parte, nell’Arte (We Met on the Same Side, in Art), by Alice Lou Tanzarella, Aboubacar Kourouma and Mouhamed Yaye Traore, with discussions and creative activities. Personal experiences become a starting point for reflecting on inequalities and encouraging informed intercultural dialogue.
