Horizons. Apocalypse tomorrow
After the failure of an experiment to combat global warming, an actual Ice Age exterminates everything on the planet. The only survivors are the travellers who have struggled with all their might to procure a ticket and win a place on board the 'Snowpiercer', a high-speed train which goes around the world and which is powered by an engine in perpetual motion. This train is the only means of ensuring survival, becoming a microcosm of human society divided into social classes: the poor crammed into the last carriage; the richest in the luxurious wagons at the front. The difficult cohabitation and the delicate balance between classes inevitably leads to struggles and revolutions.
