Founded in Siena in 1932 by Count Guido Chigi Saracini, the Accademia Musicale Chigiana is one of the world's leading institutions for advanced musical training. For more than ninety years, it has welcomed outstanding young musicians from across the globe, offering masterclasses led by internationally renowned performers and pedagogues.
Every summer, the CHIGIANA International Festival & Summer Academy brings together education and performance through a rich programme of concerts, events and cultural initiatives featuring internationally acclaimed artists alongside the Academy's Young Artists.
In 2026, the Academy launches a new partnership with Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, inaugurated with two concerts in the museum's Sala Grande on 9 and 13 August.
Featuring the Academy's Young Artists and internationally renowned faculty members, these events celebrate the encounter between music and contemporary art while opening a new chapter of collaboration between two of Tuscany's leading cultural institutions.
