As part of the collaboration between Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci and the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, the opening event of the series features the Young Artists of the Double Bass Masterclass, led by Giuseppe Ettorre.

Accompanied by pianist Pierluigi Di Tella, the participants of the masterclass will perform a programme showcasing the artistic and educational excellence of the CHIGIANA International Festival & Summer Academy 2026.
