In permanent migration
A conversation with Fabio Cavallucci
Migrations are increasingly present in the news, and there is a widespread perception, fueled by certain information media, that they constitute a siege against which we have to defend ourselves with walls and armies. But who are these migrants? A drama and a social menace to be afraid of? An economic opportunity? An effect of globalization and of the opening up of European borders, borders which now however seem to be closing again and threatening the whole Schengen convention itself? And what are the differences between the old and the new migrations? There are many themes which the journalist Gad Lerner will be analyzing and discussing with the public in his conversation with Fabio Cavallucci, the director of the Centro Pecci.
A series of conferences, coordinated by the journalist Włodek Goldkorn, with some of the most important national and international figures for whom war and conflict are or have been fundamental experiences. The aim is to analyze the cultural, social, anthropological and geopolitical dynamics of our modern society in which war has multiple forms and methods.
