Dumbo comes to the big screen at Centro Pecci Cinema on Sunday 25 October at 10:30 am, as part of the Animiamoci film series. Screened in Italian.
Dumbo is among the most accomplished and touching of Disney classics. It is the fourth Disney film, but the first not to feature Walt Disney. It is the shortest of the animated feature films, but the richest in emotion and pathos.
Set in the colorful world of the circus, this masterpiece tells the story of a baby elephant named Dumbo, with giant ears and a tender heart. Disdainfully cast away from the circus, he finds his only allies in his mother and the friendly mouse Timothy, who can comfort him in his darkest moments and share his anxieties until he finally proves his worth.

After the meager box office success of Pinocchio and Fantasia, created in previous years, the story of the big-eared elephant achieved instant and unexpected success.
