Joakin Bouaziz is a versatile musician, DJ and record manager and he develops his musical investigations in a mixture of genres and styles, from disco music to heavy metal, from indie rock to afro beat. He has produced 5 records (from Fantomes, 2003, to Tropics of Love, 2014), which testify to an encyclopedic approach to the musical repertoire, with combinations of synthetic and acoustic elements, traditional instruments, analogical and digital machines. Joakin’s intensive activity also includes forays into the visual arts, fashion and the contemporary art scene. Besides the creation of sound installations (Gwangju Biennale, 2014), he has collaborated with Camille Henrot, Boris Achour, Douglas Ross and with the festival Exit della Maison des Arts di Créteil. In 2002 he founded the label Tigersushi in Paris, and in  2013 in New York the record company Crowdspacer.
