Reducing The Tempo To Zero is a sound research performance for voice and electronics which creates a close relationship between the public, the space and the sound. It lasts about 2 hours and investigates the relationship between listener, memory and concentration. During the performance the public is free to “go in and out”, experiencing the sound space, while a choir of voices alternates the development of the composition using transformations and phonetic combinations based on repetition and improvisation which question habitual notions of duration and tempo.
